About Danish WindSun Development
DWSD is a new Danish company established in 2017 with the purpose of develop, co-develop, purchase and build wind and solar projects in East Africa with main focus on Kenya.
The two owners consist of Danish Sun Energy with Carsten Tilm in Charge, who has been in the solar business for almost 15 years both as investor, as project developer and EPC contractor. He has also worked for Vestas Vind System in Denmark developing one of their platforms. DSE has in-debt knowledge about Kenya through Casten and their staff situated in their local office in Kenya.
And Ole Stein, situated in Denmark, but who for a decade has worked on developing, projecting and selling wind and solar projects in Southern/Eastern Europe and Africa. Ole is also stakeholder and investor in two multi MW solar and wind development projects in Bulgaria. He has the technical knowhow to both do and verify layouts and measuring campaigns to validate especially wind projects.
The company has focused on, but not limited to:
- Validate wind and solar projects
- Make feasibility studies
- Assist with applications and contact to authorities
- Verify projects
- Negotiate projects
- Sell the projects
The result of this has been that DWSD today has several projects in hand which we can enter and complete to a level satisfactory to any investor.
